MANIFESTO

OUR WORLD IS CHANGING,
WE MUST ACT NOW

#BETHECHANGE MANIFESTO

Economic growth and our prosperity have increased steadily in recent decades thanks to new technologies. But our society and also our environment can no longer continue with the old patterns and problems.

We as a society must change fundamentally! – And this change means that decision makers have to adapt. Technologies have been developed in the last decades which partly trigger many problems, but which also represent sensible solutions.

This manifesto is a call to work together for change and more relevance. Together we advocate that especially decision makers from politics, economy and science significantly change their thinking and acting in order to cope successfully with the problems of our time.

Together we can ensure that solutions are developed which will allow our children a better future.

1.

Knowledge as the basis for change

We stand up for the fact that knowledge for all topics of our time must be made accessible for everyone. This includes the broad masses, but also the decision-makers. Only with the necessary knowledge can the right decisions be made in the future.

2.

Using technology for the benefit of all

Fair distribution of technical progress, for all people and our environment. Making achievements accessible to everyone.

3.

THERE ARE NOT TOO FEW TECHNOLOGIES - WE NEED SOLUTIONS FOR PEOPLE, ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIETY

The technological development of the last few years has shown that we can already solve almost all our problems with the state of the art technology. But there is a lack of knowledge, implementation and, above all, the right change management.

4.

Change instead of talking

Proven methods and competencies should ensure that less is discussed and more is implemented.

5.

End emotional actionism - we need a master plan

In recent years, tens of millions, up to billions, have been increasingly spent on useless projects with no major objectives. It is time to look at the big picture and agree on a master plan.

6.

Together we create change

Various states and organisations are working in parallel on solutions. We must ensure that there is more exchange of knowledge and also transfer of experience. To do this, we need experts from business, science, politics and society who are actively committed to a common change.

7.

People, animals and the environment must be at the centre

We need to stop just talking about technology. It is important to develop holistic solutions that create direct added value for humans, animals and our environment.

8.

Embrace change as a constant

We have to set up our system in such a flexible way that the ever more rapid change, by technology and innovation of our society, can be better accompanied. This means that change must be regarded as a constant and resources must be created.
